Fotonow is a South West UK based Community Interest Company. Directors Jonathan Blyth, Hannah Guy and Matthew Pontin are experienced photographic practitioners and educationalists. Through FOTONOW they create new opportunities in photography and facilitate socially motivated projects exploring visual culture across throughout the South West of England.

Fotonow is based in Plymouth and intent on working across the region to stimulate new dialogues with photography and the wider arts, the company also has a small studio space in Liskeard. The social enterprise has cultivated a distinctive identity through working with a broad diverse communities to support the development of projects that encourage greater social inclusion and the shared exploration of the visual arts.

Whether delivering short-term workshops in a residential home to explore memory-loss, or commissioned to undertake a longer-term residency within a community undergoing social change through relocation and housing redevelopment, our ethos remains to utilise photography as a catalyst for social change. Fotonow also manage ‘Camper Obscura’ which provides an interactive visual experience via a mobile camera obscura in a VW camper van, outreaching to local and national communities.
